Larry Walker Joins Culinary Catering as Executive Chef

(Wichita, Kansas) – Culinary Catering announced today that Larry Walker has accepted the position of Executive Chef. Larry is one of the most prominent Chefs in Wichita, having over 35 years of experience in Wichita’s Food and Beverage Industry.
Prior to joining Culinary Catering, Larry served as the General Manager of AVI Seabar & Chophouse located in the Drury Plaza Hotel Broadway in downtown Wichita. Over his thirty-five-year career, Larry has served as Executive Chef at several high-profile locations, including Crestview Country Club, Wichita State University, Double Tree by Hilton Wichita Airport, and the Harvey Hotel. Executive Chef Walker is also an accomplished ice carver, having his sculptors displayed over the years at many high-end events and locations across the area.
Culinary Catering CEO Jeremy Barker led the extensive, nationwide Executive Chef search. CEO Barker commented on the hiring of Executive Chef Walker by saying that, “His reputation as one of Wichita’s foremost Executive Chefs precedes himself and we are very fortunate to have Larry join the Culinary Catering team.”
Executive Chef Walker is a native of Wichita, Kansas and is looking forward to joining the Culinary Catering team.
